A new cabinet has taken oath on Saturday. Now you all may be wondering- "Which cabinet is he taking about? There are a few more days left for the Karnataka election". No, I am not talking about the Karnataka government. I am talking about a shadow cabinet that has been formed in Kerala.  There is not much reported by the media about it, as usual, but the shadow cabinet has been formed with the aim of monitoring government decisions and making it 'public-friendly'. The most interesting fact is that it is composed not by any politicians or run by any party, but by the civilians.  Now all of you might be wanting to know more about 'Shadow Cabinet', so I have looked up in the internet and found out what it really is, so as to give you a more clearer idea of what it actually is- " A shadow cabinet is an alternative cabinet formed with the aim of monitoring government decisions. And yet again Govindachamy escapes from the hands of the law... I don't know why this happens again and again. Why can't the Supreme Court reward him with a death penalty? Why is the sentence being reduced to life sentence? Why is the Supreme Court and the Kerala Government failing to bring justice to Soumya? The answer to this is lack of evidence. Even the Jisha murder case in Kerala has reached the point of 'no where'.  Such criminals, who get life sentence, are being well-fed everyday and become what is called 'hale and hearty'. Once they are out of the prison, they repeat the same crime again.  According to me, giving a life sentence to a criminal is like setting him free.  Our nation should learn from countries like Saudi Arabia, where such things are dealt in the right way.
